Thus, we are not having monthly meetings at this time. We hope to hold monthly meetings in the future. We began the protest in March 2025 and it has been carried on weekly for over one year. We provide huge, highly visible banners. Please join us. Waco Friends of the Climate table at OUT ON THE BRAZOS 2024. This was a good year, with more than 100 tables present. Traffic at our table seemed a little decreased in comparison with 2023. We would love to be on the row facing the concrete walkways, to increase the foot traffic at our table. But we still gave away a large number of reusable bags, numerous "climate crisis is here" yard signs and abundant business cards with climate action suggestions. Our reusable bags had a new message this year: " Vote for candidates committed to fight climate change." and "Reject Plastic." The solar panel with battery display also interested many attendees.
