Thus, we are not having monthly meetings at this time. We hope to hold monthly meetings in the future. We began the protest in March 2025 and it has been carried on weekly for over one year. We provide huge, highly visible banners. Please join us. FRIENDS OF THE CLIMATE at the GREEN COMMUNITIES CONFERENCE, Sept 18-19, 2023

Waco Friends of the Climate participation in the GREEN COMMUNITIES CONFERENCE, Sept 18 and 19, 2023.
1) I did a powerpoint presentation entitled "Our Planet in Crisis: Status of Climate, Plastic Pollution, and Biodiversity in 2023." Provided free yard signs and information business cards. 20-30 in attendance & well received.
2) Our slide show of the winning art from the Climate Crisis Art Exhibit, years 1 through 6. It looked great playing on a loop on multiple screens throughout the convention center.
3) Displayed my Tesla Model Y with a Model S, Model 3, Toyota Ariya, Subaru Solterra, Chevy Bolt, Ford F150, Ford Mustang Mach E. Was great to see Toyota and Subaru dealers finally promoting EVs.
4) Showed & explained my rooftop photovoltaic system and Tesla Powerwall battery to a busload of people on the Solar Tour.
