Waco Friends of the Climate MURAL at Chalk Waco 2022, May 14-15, 2022

The mural is a collaboration of a concept sketch from Friends of the Climate brought to life through the talent of artist Susan Sistrunk.

"Our Choice" is a healthy ocean with rapid transition to renewable energy or a damaged ocean with continued reliance on greenhouse gas-emitting fossil fuel (oil drilling platform on right).

Our choice is clean, renewable energy.

Our hope is that the mural will remain intact for months, stimulating awareness of the CLIMATE CRISIS, and the choice we all have to lighten our carbon footprint--thus helping to preserve a healthy ocean.
