VOLUNTEER JUDGES NEEDED NOW: 5th Annual Climate Crisis Art Exhibit

We are currently photographing the entries and creating the website.  Entries have increased this year, to approximately 90, with the addition of high schools which have not participated previously.  This community wide show displays climate artists from pre-school to professional--and we have some amazing, moving pieces.  So it's time to request volunteers to judge the show.

Since the show is entirely virtual this year, all judges will review the pieces individually, followed by a zoom or live meeting to hash out the winners.  Our goal is to include several FOC members, to represent the climate science world, and a professional artist to give us guidance from the aesthetic world.  The criteria for the judged awards:  relevance to the climate crisis, artistic excellence, and originality.

Although judging is not an easy task, it is very rewarding.  (We also have a small gift for all judges).  Of course, if you have an entry in the show, you are not eligible to judge. Judging will occur in January.  Please email Alan at anorthc@aol.com if you wish to judge.
