Thus, we are not having monthly meetings at this time. We hope to hold monthly meetings in the future. We began the protest in March 2025 and it has been carried on weekly for over one year. We provide huge, highly visible banners. Please join us. Delivery of signs is available. Help raise awareness of the climate crisis, deeply needed in Waco. 6) Winners of the "Sixth Annual Climate Crisis Art Exhibit" may be found in the Archives, April 2023. July 11th Styrofoam Collection Reminder

Waco Friends of the Climate will hold a Drive-Through Styrofoam Recycling Event,

Sunday, July 11, from 1pm until 5pm, rain or shine, in the parking lot

 at the corner of Waco and Valley Mills Drives, in front of the

 Ocean Buffet.  


Drive between orange cones to the U-Haul trucks,

and  stay in vehicles as the Styrofoam is removed..  Please

wear a mask if unvaccinated.  Clean Styrofoam food containers

and large blocks/molded pieces are accepted.  Small pieces should be placed in bags,

and peanuts are not accepted.  The service is free.
