Important Announcements

Meetings are currently held on the 4th Tuesday, 6pm, at the South Waco Library, 2737 S. 18th St., Waco, TX 76706. Successful Styrofoam Collection

The Waco Friends of the Climate styrofoam collection on April 3rd was the biggest one yet!  There were several volunteers who worked from 9 am until 1 pm, and we completely filled three large U-Haul trucks, even including the cabs.  The jumbo-size bags shown in the photos were provided by Dart, the company in Waxahachie that received the collected Styrofoam.  The loaded trucks were driven to Dart on Monday by Alan, Travis, Jack and Kandi.
