Meetings are currently held on the 4th Tuesday, 6pm, at the South Waco Library, 2737 S. 18th St., Waco, TX 76706. EV Demonstration in the Juneteenth Parade

For the Juneteenth parade, the Waco Friends of the Climate teemed up with Heart of Texas Electric Auto Association  to enter a black Chevy Bolt, a white Chevy Bolt, a black Nissan Leaf, and a white Tesla Model 3.  The reception to the cars was excellent along the route. We educated folks about EVs, and it was a lot of fun.  Given the EV shortage in Waco, we believe we should definitely participate in parades in the future.
