Alan Northcutt Address Waco City Council About EVs


Alan D Northcutt spoke at the Waco City Council meeting on March 3, 2020, as part of the Waco Friends of Peace/Climate Go Renewable Waco campaign, calling for rapid transition to EVs. He provided a spreadsheet showing seven EVs with lifecycle costs less than those of Ford Taurus & Chevy Impala.  EVs have about 1/2 the fuel costs and much lower maintenance costs. This builds on the 100% renewable energy purchase for municipal power needs announced two weeks ago. EV names are green if lifecycle costs less than ICE vehicles.
