Meetings are currently held on the 4th Tuesday, 6pm, at the South Waco Library, 2737 S. 18th St., Waco, TX 76706. SUSTAINABLE RESOURCE PRACTICES ADVISORY BOARD MEETINGS?


The April meeting ended early with no time for discussion of climate or renewables, the May 2nd and May 9th meetings were cancelled and reportedly there will be no meetings in June or July.  That will mean this Board will have done nothing on our existential threat issue for 5 months.  And this is from a Board that claimed it wanted to handle climate change.  We remained committed to the formations of a new Climate Action Board:  we have spoken at City Council and written about this.  It is truly an unbelievable and deeply disappointing situation.  If your house is on fire, you don't wait 5 months to put it out.  If the Board does meet again, we will be there!
