"JUST EAT IT" Documentary Labeling Information
A message from Alan Northcutt:
We wish to provide follow-up information to clarify some questions that arose at the January 16 meeting.
After studying the USDA website I arrived at 2 conclusions that basically conform to our thoughts Tuesday night:
- The only labeling required by federal law in the US is for baby formula.
- Examination of food for changes in odor, color, texture and taste is the best method of determining if a given food item is safe.
