INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE MEDITATION/PRAYER CIRCLE

The following event post is quoted from our member Serena Kristiana Teakell Rigby. Although Friends of Peace/Climate did not organize or sponsor this event, we support Serena in her efforts.  (As you know, we are completely focused on climate change at this time.).

From Serena:

International Day of Peace
~Meditation/Prayer Circle~
Thursday, Sept. 21st
Indian Springs Park, Waco
1pm-4pm

”Please join me by the suspension bridge downtown between the hours of 1pm and 4pm.  We will be meditating/praying/sending out vibrations of energy for peace.  I encourage people from all walks of life and faith to show up in support of global peace and unity.  Meditate and pray however you choose!  Feel free to bring a blanket to sit on, a yoga mat for meditation, a pillow, sage for cleansing, healing crystals, your bible, whatever you need.  Definitely bring your spirituality!  This day is all about unity, so invite your friends and family.  Hope to see you there!"
