The film traces the history of
online activism and computer hacking. It explains Anonymous, the radical "hacktivist"
collective that has redefined civil disobedience for the digital age. The film
presents live footage of actions, and it includes interviews with current members, members recently
released from prison, others facing trial, writers, activists, and major
players in various Anonymous "raids." It outlines Anonymous' evolution from merry pranksters to a
full-blown movement with global reach, the most transformative civil
disobedience of our time.
