TITLE: "The Yes Men Fix the World."

RATING: NR, but nothing objectionable for children.

ADMISSION FEE: one can of food for local food bank.

In the spirit of the holidays, the FOP present a documentary with a humorous bent. The Yes Men enlighten through humor. "Sometimes it takes a lie to expose the truth."
The Men pose as representatives of the companies they despise. Their work is often considered performance art mixed with political activism, as they confront corporate greed and stupidity.
This film takes on the issues of Dow Chemical and the Bhopal disaster, Exon and alternative
energy, and the corporate response to Katrina.
If you haven't experienced the Yes Men, you are in for a treat. If you have, prepare to be
enlightened further--and amused.

Please join us for the film, for communication with other progressives, to support the Peace Movement in Waco, ---and for the pizza.
The FOP is a recognized organization in Waco now. We always attempt to contribute to
the national peace movement events, and we look for local opportunities to act for peace.
I feel we should get everyone's input this month as to what new directions or tactics should
we employ in 2011 to forward our goals. -an
