SPEAKER: The Reverend Thomas E. Smith, Pastor of the Monumental Baptist Church of Pittsburgh. Rev. Smith is President of Pastors for Peace (PFP). PFP will be passing through Waco on their caravan to Cuba, and we are honored to hear Rev. Smith speak about the cruelty of the U.S. embargo on that nation, and on the work PFP does to help alleviate the needs for medical supplies and other necessities.

The story of how Cuba transitioned from large, fossil-fuel intensive farming to small, less energy-intensive organic farms and urban gardens, and from a highly industrial society to a more sustainable one.
