Thus, we are not having monthly meetings at this time. We hope to hold monthly meetings in the future. We began the protest in March 2025 and it has been carried on weekly for over one year. We provide huge, highly visible banners. Please join us. Delivery of signs is available. Help raise awareness of the climate crisis, deeply needed in Waco. 6) Winners of the "Sixth Annual Climate Crisis Art Exhibit" may be found in the Archives, April 2023. Some incredible climate art may be viewed.



Friends of Peace is gathering signatures on petitions -- paper and online -- towards the goal of presenting them to local elected officials. Because our members come from number of different municipalities in McLennan County, we chose to address our petitions to the county commission as well as any cities that we can.

Please sign the online petition, or if you would like to get some of the hard-copy petitions and collect signatures in person, email us and we'll get some to you.
